My art grows through connection — with places, people, and ideas. Each exhibition marks a new chapter in that journey, offering a glimpse into the themes, textures, and stories that shape my creative practice.

Each exhibition reflects a moment in time, connecting visual art with thought, space, and audience.

Artist-in-Residence

Courtyard Arts, Hertford.

In the Summer of 2025, Liz was delighted to be accepted as the Artist-in-Residence 2025 at Courtyard Arts. She worked at the gallery space in Courtyard Arts for most of August, preparing and developing a series of work in response to mini-sculptures made by visitors who attended drop-in sessions and created abstract assemblages from a range of recycled materials. They were also able to view the gallery as a studio space and interact with Liz on the practices and process of working as an artist. It was an inspiring and exhilarating time and culminated in an Exhibition entitled ‘Trial & Error’ detailing the inspiration and work process of an artist.

The opportunity also inspired an article with the Visual Artists Association which can be read here.

Exhibition

The first public showing of this contemporary and relevant exhibition entitled ‘Digital Discard - How Do You Fold Yours?’. Based on the concept of the subconscious manipulation and folding of crisp packets, these mini-sculptures are then reimagined into two-dimensional colourful and vibrant digital art prints. As well as providing joyful and intriguing compositions, the works also provide discourse on the issue of recycled waste.
